Forty three new corona patients have been detected in Narayanganj in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Thursday.

“A total of 159 samples were tested and 43 more patients were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hrs in Narayangang,” said Jahidul Islam, Health Officer of Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.

Five more patients have made recovery from the disease taking the tally to 21, he said.

Jahidul Islam also said a total of 577 corona patients have been detected and 35 have died of the disease in the district so far.
